Recognizing patterns and reacting to those patterns while under duress is actually very impressive. Most highly intelligent people couldn't learn to box at this level even if they had very good trainers. Tank does this every fight. He fights passive in the early rounds while seeing what he can get away with, learning how his opponents fight, and wears them out at the same time. Then he starts applying what he gathered and chips away at that HP till it’s 0! KO!
