Labels just make art for you and send your music to Spotfy playlists - all while taking the money it makes. There's no need for them in 2022 go independant guys! 99% of what labels do you can do yourself

The whole reason we go for labels is solely for promo. No need for a label if i have my own audience. This is a big catch 22 for labels and artists.

I mean, I surely hope people already knew this. sure your music gotta be good, but at the same time you gotta be marketable and it's really always been that way. labels have been and always will be companies who need to make money, and we as artist more often than not need the exposure that those labels can grant us till a certain point. we trade part of our potential revenue for more exposure until we have enough of a fanbase ourselves that we don't need the label anymore

One question I got is if a song you make is great & people love it & you upload it to YouTube will people be able to hear it even if you aren't posting songs consistently? Because the youtube algorithm doesn't push videos up if you don't post consistently does this even matter if your song is good enough do you even need to post consistently?

Record Label wants Your music to sound how they like, If you follow their need then you will lost your originality so step off and stop chasing record label 👍🏼
