Thanks for your video. I have UDR but for some reason I dont have the option for Nerwork Type which is tge standard and guest network. How can I get it? I want to create guest network.

Can I configure the same Guest Network and Wifi settings from Desktop Software Controller Application and also if the Desktop Software Controller is not online in future will that impact on the Guest Wifi Network.

I set one up on my dream machine pro and if I chose to have them agree to terms, it was very erratic, it would sometimes just disconnect, other times it would work, and then if I went back to it later it would be connected with no internet so I’d have to forget the network and start again. I ended up just making it an open network with no landing page or message or terms.

Does the guest network by default have client isolation so two devices both on the guest network cannot communicate?

I keep getting an IP Configuration failure on my Pixel6. It has no problem connecting to any other SSIDs on the network. Any ideas?

Hi Willie, you dont specify if anything else is required for guest to work. Is DHCP built into the cloud key? Or does this setup require a unifi router?

I'm I doing something wrong everytime I change the network for guest my devices won't connect their not pulling a ip address but if I change it back to the default network it connects no problem.

For wifi guest only do we need to do the network section now that they have an ISOLATE network option within the wifi? Can I not just make a Wifi network and tick isolate button?

OK, here's a n00b question about UniFi integration: How is integration affected if you start to build out your UniFi network by configuring an EdgeRouter, DreamMachine, etc., and creating a separate network for a single physical interface, then install the controller software on a node within that protected network? If the point of the IoT network is to isolate it, how much visibility will you have to other UniFi devices from the controller running inside the IoT net? All the computers on my nw run Linux, except a Win box inside the IoT segment, and I'd like to use it for initial setup of a UniFi AP, which requires the controller, but I'm assuming this instance of the controller will be blind to the other UniFi devices, right? Thanks

is threre a way to have the guest network auto kick guests after a 24hr period so they would need to type in the guest wifi passsword when they/ if they return? searched the unifi community, but no luck. thanks in advance!

The filter "none", "work", "family".. is new? Is it a predefined none customizable web apps or services filter? Wish you showed that a bit. I dont have a usg or udm at the moment.
