is alpha is a scalar quantity then lets assume alpha is "6" then "alpha * alpha compliment" = 6 * compliment(6) = 36? does this mean compliment of real number is that number itself? compliment 1 = 1?

Very good. Lekin norm definition ka ye tariqa teek nahe hai, ye to theorm hai k every inner product space is a norm linear
Space. Jes tarah ek aur theorm hai k every norm linear
Space is a metric space.
Matlb ye relation between norm and inner product aur dosra relation between metric space and norm hai
