Today, divorce seems to be a very common thing for people to use when they get tired of each other. There's some that's divorced multiple times. If it's the man that calls for divorce each time, they are the ones with a problem, and if it's the woman, they've got a problem. It just seems that way.

I can count on one hand the number of couples I know who have never divorced. God has blessed my wife and I with 47 beautiful years and still counting. We married at a young age. I was 20, and she was 16. I thank the Lord for our meeting.

God bless all. Amen 🙏 ❤.

If you steal a car once you continue to be guilty every time you drive it. You dont own the car. Youll still be taken to jail when you get caught

And it never implies remarriage except to call it adultety. Either this man is in a second marriage or a lot of people he knows are. Im supposing hes a onesaved always saved person to. It never says that adultery breaks the covenant. Or all a person would have to do is cheat. What if the person who didnt cheat wants to stay in marriage

There are many holes in this teaching and I find it sad and disheartening that it is taught as truth. The only truth, is God's truth. Whether or not the exact term "adulterous marriage" is used in the Bible, the principal is absolutely there. Paul even uses the example in his letter to the Romans in chapter 7 verses 1-3. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 also speaks to this principal. Regardless, i believe your stolen car example is a good example to the exact contrary position you took. You stopped short of what actually happens in that scenario. Yes, the initial stealing is wrong and sinful but at what point is still maintaining possession of a stolen car ok? Obviously it's not and nor is a sinful relationship. God hates divorce. This we know. He also expects us to follow His commandments, no matter how difficult. Will we be perfect? Absolutely not, thank God for His immeasurable grace. But to continue in a sexual relationship with one who God does not see as their spouse is a rejection of that grace and not repenting.

This is dangerous teaching that may put the souls of many in jeopardy. Remember, God's plan is much higher and more important that our own. We obey HIS will, not what is most convenient or desirable for us on earth. We are HIS creation and subject to Him alone. I hope you will reconsider your faulty doctrine with individuals' souls in the balance.

I have found in my lifetime that many who take this stance are those who are affected by this teaching whether directly or indirectly and as a preacher of the gospel, it is absolutely one of the hardest principles to apply because of the here and now repercussions. However, that is the effect of sin, and sin comes with consequences. To whom do we submit?

Lastly, be mindful that teachers will be judged with greater strictness James 3:1. It is a humbling thought for me when I prepare for teaching. Much rides on our words and I pray that my words are the Fathers.

God bless brother.

The innocent woman can't remarry because her marriage to her husband was still standing. In Matthew 5:32 you have to notice THAT THE HUSBAND DIDN'T TAKE ANOTHER WOMAN. the husband divorced his wife because any other reason other than sexual immorality and he didn't marry another woman. The marriage was still standing. It is interesting how he Bible versions render " and whoever marry A DIVORCED WOMAN commits adultery" and other Bibles render " and whoever marry HER THAT IS SENT WAY" . it seems to me that the A DIVORCED WOMAN implies ANY DIVORCED woman, including the ones who divorced their husbands because sexual immorality and " whoever marry HER THAT IS SENT AWAY" implies SPECIFICALLY the divorced women that are divorced because their unfaithfulness or they were sent way without any valid reason. one of the oldest translations of the gospel of Matthew is found in the Codex Sinaiticus and it translates as "whoever marry her THAT IS SENT WAY". GOD bless.

Mathew 19:9 is old covenant not new. Mathew 5:17-18 Mathew 7:12 Romans 15:8 King James version 1 Corinthians 7:15, 27-28 is new covenant just that simple. Acts 2-Revelation 22 is the complete new testament of Jesus. John 16:12-15 Mathew 28:18-20 Acts 1:3

Repentance or baptism doesn't sanctify adultety
Its adulteryif youre in a new marriage ongoing. You can call it adulterous marriage. Dont call it anything at all. Its not a one time act. What about the innocent party?

“And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭19:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus said put away except for fornication AND marry another commit adultery. So that marriage after an unjust divorce is adultery.
Read the scripture without twisting it and it is clear. Again what did Jesus say?
Put away except for fornication AND marry another commit adultery

your points are not valid, that one can not break a law...the point is one can not continue, in these sins....repentence....as the expression goes....is admit it, and quit it....now how many times does one have to say this....the issue is not ....forgiveness....the question is forsaking this sin....ergo....stop it....and that is not accomplished, by remaining in this state, of adultery...
