I met my husband to be in 98. I was 21 and he was 35. We fell hard for each other but our families used to convince us we are not marriage material. We both came from broken homes. In 2003 after spending 11 months apart we eloped and managed to get married at the mayor's office. We wanted to have our families at our church wedding so we had to force our families to not have the choice to object or intervene. We had our church wedding and the baptism of our child in 2007. We are still together fully committed to the Godly words spoken at our ceremony. I pray every day we are all safe and love in our family and everyone around us. Greetings from Athens Greece.

28, slept around quite a bit after my first real breakup. I can’t tell you how much I regret it all. Often I feel lost, often I feel lonely, often I feel I don’t deserve anything good because of how I decided to treat and undervalue women.
I can tell you though- even in my broken state God is here for me and guides me.

The covenant of marriage is very serious to The Creator. I was afraid to get married, because of the commitment. Went into my room to pray, the morning of our wedding. Isaid, I don't think, I can do this. His still quiet voice said, "I will teach you, what love really is through this woman". Married 52 years. She just died and I can't wait to follow her to Paradise.

I married my husband 6 years ago, we were both very strong in our Christian faith but somewhere along the way his relationship with God changed and he no longer respected the sanctity of marriage. My husband and I divorced after being together since 18 years old. So moving on from that, I then met a believer of god who I was attracted to, and at some point he said to me “I can’t talk you or fall for u because you’re another man’s wife”I said “but I’m divorced.”He said “no yr not, you’re still married.” I was very confused. But fast forward my husband and I missed each other so much that we started re-dating during the divorce and 3months later we got remarried only to learn that we were still married and never had real grounds to divorce to begin with according to the Bible. What GOD has joined together let no man separate. Including self.

First marriage my husband physically abused both myself and our baby. I left to stay safe and he abandoned us by moving in with another woman. I filed for divorce. I’m happily remarried to a Godly man 25 years now. Praise God for His protection over women in abusive marriages.

My husband grew up watching loving, long marriages -- parents, grandparents, great grandparents. I grew up around divorce and parents who shacked up with partners. But I became a Christian and soon after met my husband, and the stability, the kindness, the devotion to God and family was like seeing the sunshine after years of rain. Our children are now married -- and they chose spouses whose parents and grandparents also stayed married through good times and bad. The blessings have been too many to count as a result both for us and our families. Almost 30 years with my best friend, and it just gets better. Praise be to God.

In my life there are two prayers I've made with all my heart. One was at my first lowest point when I begged God to end my lonliness and send me the woman He made for me to be with. I met my wife less than 12 hours later. She was everything I could have ever wanted and everything I never knew I needed. My perfect match. We were together for seven and a half years (married for four and a half of those) when she had a sudden massive seizure and died in my arms at only 28 years old. The second prayer I made with all my heart was begging God not to take her as I tried to keep her alive. This time His answer was no. I can tell you here and now that true love exists beyond a shadow of a doubt. My wife was my wife even before I met her and she will be my wife until the day I die. There is no remarriage. There is no moving on. Every day I was with her I loved her more than the day before and the same is true even after she died. I'm linked with her forever. A marriage made before God is invincible.

My parents married at 18, they are both now 54 years old and still married. My mom has told me about the many highs and lows they’ve gone through. All the struggles and strife, but they kept God first and never let their love for each other go. My mom never gave up on my dad, and my dad would never stop providing for my mom and us.

For many reasons I'm still single at 30. So many things to consider in marriage because it's not something you can end when you don't like it anymore. It's a lifetime commitment. It's just sad how married couples nowadays no longer value the sanctity of marriage.

I wish someone had taught me about God growing up. God has forgiven me for my sins and for marrying an abuser many years ago. I had to leave the marriage because it was him or me at that point. After 8 years of being single and trying to date I find it is easier to be single. I will wait until I'm in heaven to feel pure Love and Bliss 🙏🏼❤️💫
