SOUTHERN STYLE DEVILED EGGS
Ingredients boiling eggs
12 jumbo eggs
2 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar
1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoons of lime juice
3 cups of ice
Ingredients making filling
12 jumbo eggs
5 tablespoons of mayo
1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
1 teaspoons of ranch
4 tablespoons of sweet relish
1 teaspoons of old bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon of Tony’s creole seasoning
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Paprika
Parsley
INSTRUCTIONS
Put eggs into a pot and add water until all the eggs are completely covered. Add white distilled vinegar and salt put the pot on the stove at heat 7/8. Once the water is boiling set a timer for 12 minutes.
After 12 minutes turn off heat and add lime juice. Remove the eggs from the boiling water and place them in an ice bath.
Once the eggs have cooled completely, peel them and slice in half lengthwise. Remove the yolk to a small bowl with a spoon and place the egg whites on a plate.
Mash the yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, mustard, ranch, sweet relish, old bay seasoning, Tony’s creole seasoning and salt and pepper. Stir everything together until it's smooth.
Use a piping bag or spoon to add a portion of the deviled egg mixture back into the hole of each egg white. Sprinkle on paprika and parsley for garnish.
