Wow. This was published two years ago. The only candidate that is talking about this is Andrew Yang. #Yang2020

This sure does sound a lot like Andrew Yang.

"i've been hearing things, The Cyber, very very bad. Its ugly. "

I feel like I'm listening to something Obama would say in a board room or amongst his advisors. It's kind of like a briefing, I like it a lot

His explanation of Human-AI interaction is more understandable than the explanations most scientist give.

I miss him and his coherent and complete sentences

Trump answering this question: "It's a great AI. Beautiful. And I have the best words."

Universal Basic Income is just inevitable. The earlier we can implement, the faster we can grow as a society.

Why ON EARTH is the "optimistic" view that people will have to keep their jobs? I mean what is the ultimate goal here? To just keep everyone occupied? Or hoping we never out-engineer biology? Shouldn't the optimistic goals be that "yes, we will hopefully be able to replace all jobs as soon as possible with machines, so that everyone can finally stop worrying about their job and focus on doing what they love all day long". Or have we just silently agreed that a job is the ultimate meaning of life?

Refreshing to hear rationality and forward thinking in a time of sensational politics and media.

If you respect Obama's opinions, you would vote for Andrew Yang.

Trump, "AI is great, it's a great thing, I know a lot about AI, people love me, AI will love me"

Good to see that top level people are thinking and talking about this. The lack of conversation around AI until now was scaring me. This is THE topic to discuss from now on.

You know, even if Obama was heavily prepared for this speech (and he certainly was), it still shows how intelligent and, well, how much of a generally sane, stable, rational person he is. He was criticised like any politician, and not without reasons; some even called him the worst president. But I'm afraid we're in for a rude awakening when a new POTUS is elected, because we'll have this guy for comparison.

Ask Trump to talk about AI and film it.

I think I'm going to miss the accessibility of President Obama the most.

I like how they discuss alternatives to universal basic income here. These are the questions we need to be asking one another.

Kudos to the president for talking about this. This is the one of several critical issues that presidential candidates should be discussing that they don't and won't discuss.
