In a wide-ranging interview with the BBC's North American Editor Jon Sopel, US President Barack Obama said a lack of changes on US gun laws was the "greatest frustration" of his presidency. Mr Obama also told the BBC what he will say about gay rights in Kenya, why his own Congress and the Gulf nations should accept the recent Iran nuclear deal, and what he expects his legacy as president will be.

For all the ups and downs I'm grateful to have had such a brilliant and level headed person as our leader the past two terms. I'm proud to have had this president be the first and second one I voted for. I can only hope his accomplishments are carried on by the next person in office.

President Obama set a very good example for his ability to communicate, competence , emphathy, intelligence, charisma, selfless giving his best to serve the country, for his humility, his diplomacy .. and the list can go on and on .
Generally speaking he is an outstanding example of human being, not only fruit of talent but most of hard work .

when he was a senator, I use to listen to him on the radio,  I didnt even know he was a senator then,  but i heard him talk and it kept me in tune with interest,  i never heard anyone mold words together that reaches everyones common interest.

I read most of your comments. I understand some of you blame Obama for your problems(especially you yanks) but he inherited vast problems, both foreign and domestic, tackled them positively and with a great staff. Talk about even temperament, if I had to deal with this Congress and the last I wouldn't have gone grey, I would have lost my hair completely!
