HOMEMADE CHICKEN STOCK - 2 WAYS; PRESSURE COOKER VS STOCK POT
In this video, I'll show you how to make Homemade Chicken Stock and Broth, two ways: In a Pressure Cooker (Instant Pot) and in a Stock Pot (Stove Top).
INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
recipe by shereen pavlides
for the Stock Pot - Chicken Broth turned Stock: [2:29]
1 (4 pound) whole chicken - tie the legs
4 - 5 celery stalks
4 carrots - peeled
1 large onion
1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
1 small bunch fresh thyme sprigs
1 small bunch Italian parsley with stems
{to make Chicken Noodle Soup} [6:09]
6 ounces egg noodles
2 cups sliced baby carrots
2 lemons
* Bring Stock to a boil, add egg noodles and carrots. Cook 6 minutes until tender. Remove from heat. Squeeze in lemon. Return shredded chicken.
for Pressure Cooker: [3:45]
1 whole cooked or roasted chicken carcass
4 - 5 celery stalks
4 carrots - peeled
1 large onion
1/2 tablespoon black peppercorns
2 bay leaves
1 small bunch fresh thyme sprigs
1 small bunch Italian parsley with stems
