Which Credit Card Offers The Best Rewards Points in New Zealand?

In this video I compare all the credit card rewards points, and the cards offering them, to show which cards offer the best value from a rewards points perspective.

In this video, I compare the following credit card rewards points:
- Air New Zealand Airpoints (American Express, ANZ, Kiwibank, Westpac)
- ASB True Rewards
- Westpac Hotpoints
- Flybuys (BNZ)
- Membership Points (American Express)

Out of this video you should have an idea of which credit card offers the best return as a percentage, i.e. the value of the rewards points divided by the amount you have to spend to earn them. Also, you should get an idea of the amount you'd have to spend, in order to earn enough points (in value) to recoup the annual card fees, expressed as the card break even point.

Great review, thank you so much! I need to mention that with ASB card you get free travel insurance if you spend 50% or more on travel. This is quite big if you say traveling to US. Also backed by AIG as their under writer.

American express and amex isn't accepted in enough retailers, or else id change to it

I had recently got an Amex airpoints platinum card.

Hard to find places where amex is accepted. It's definitely harder to make actual use of the higher return %. Sign up bonus kind of helps.
