Diamonds are the most widely available gemstone in the there's a market monopoly situation and there's no fair quotation on diamonds, which is why they are sold at random, mostly unfair prices. They're not a good investment at all. Do not count on diamond prices going up. With the incoming of lab grown diamonds, the demand and supply of natural diamonds will go down which might actually make them cheaper.

So no one wants to talk about the monopoly of real gemstones and this attempt to bypass that monopoly which is essentially the same chemically and physically but are still labelled as artificial or fake. This is just the european way to say that “tumhara kutta kutta mera kutta tommy”

Mined gemstones are a scam promoted by diamond mining companies, lab grown diamonds are not just genuine diamonds, they are far superior in quality to mined gemstones, thats the only way to recognize if a gemstone is mined or lab grown. If someone gives you an extremely pure gold bar, would you care if it was mined or lab grown?

If any of you guys are friends with a honest jeweler (they are rarer than mined gemstones) ask them truthfully if they can tell the difference between mined and lab grown. The only difference is that lab grown are too 'perfect', no flaws ir impurities. It will turn these dimondwalas and their pricing mechanisms on their head.

The thing is many of the mined gemstones (including diamond) aren’t actually rare. It’s an artificially created rarity.
