American tries Canadian Pizza Chain Restaurant (Pizza Pizza)

I brought my American friend over the border to try Canadian Pizza at a Canadian pizza chain restaurant called “Pizza Pizza”. This is what happened!

Fresh Pizza Pizza dressed up nice based on how you order it is actually really good. Also depends by the store. Slices sitting around are gross unless they're from a specialty vendor and not a store. Not the same product but the Pizza Pizza vendors at concerts and events actually serve a slightly different product and it's better and the turn over keeps it fresh.

With Pizza Pizza, they pre-make the dough in batches at a factory in Ontario & ship it out to all their franchises. The dough is not made fresh in store.

Although it has been 30 years since I was in Canada, I have eaten pizza in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Quebec City, Montreal, Moncton, Halifax, and Sydney. The best I tasted was in Sydney across the street from the Civic Center.

The creamy garlic dipping sauce is always the highlight, pizza is just a vessel. FYI you can but 3 packs of the pizza pizza creamy garlic in the grocery store, the cups are much larger aswell.
