24:33 Fun fact! This Photo is actually real! It happened in Canada a Few years ago where the sunset mixed with a thick layer of Fog at the perfect angle to dye the world this beautiful Orange colour. I know because I was there.🧡

Imagine finding a McDonald's in the backrooms where the food respawned. Absolute dream. Pls make a playlist for that

I love just existing and doing daily life things from 2-5 am, it’s the most ethereal and peaceful time to me

this sounds silly to say but, liminal spaces are truly cinematic masterpieces.

I love your playlists.. ever since I was a little girl, I would play soundtracks in my head and view life as if a movie. Your vids are the embodiment of my youth, my past lives realised and honoured in now time…. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Now THIS. is the kind of playlist ive been looking for, instead of the usual creepy popular playlists, like warm nights or the usual ones, theyre nice but they dont express that same kind of loneliness until this playlidt showed up, its beautiful.

I have a friend with keys to a "backroom" part of a mall- he opened it and it was a perfectly preserved Burger King from the 90s- no rats, minimal dust, almost like you could turn the lights on and start serving- it was SO CREEPY

trying to figure out why these images are nostalgic
00:00 an odd resemblance of where grandma would sit you down and talk to you, tell you stories and such
1:56 home.
4:14 where mother would take you to at dusk and get you an oreo mcflurry and a happy meal, and for herself a large coke
6:13 odd resemblance to a hotel you went to as a child
9:58 what we all imagined an office was as a child
11:12 nah, cant make something up for this. this is just a liminal space
14:45 some place we've all seen on a long hour drive to some far away place
17:51 your neighborhood when it snows and the suns last light has almost faded from sky, streetlights illuminating all you see (extra nostalgic for me cause i lived in a snowy place)
21:18 what we all thought all mansions were liked on the inside
22:19 while it was probably more sunny, we have all seen this in person, somewhere
24:17 home.
27:33 nope, pure liminal space.
29:30 again, pure liminal space. some monster probably swims around or something.
34:28 home.
37:30 a surreal landscpae we've all imagined at some point, maybe even seen it, or the old windows.
39:57 pure. liminality. no nostalgia.
45:52 an old hotel motel 6 style that you and your cousins have stayed at. you guys go swimming late at night in the pool, splash each other, have fun, then every ones tired. its time for bed. then, you sleep your last night at the hotel, say goodbye to your cousins, and then your shoved in a car for a few hours, getting home late at night.
50:30 school, before life and its torment picked up. it was all simple, yet ut felt like the worst stuff we'd ever get thrown at in life, grades, days that just feel way longer, having to walk home in the afternoon with your heavy backpack.

i personally love this liminal space aesthetic combined with this style of music because it reminds me of when i used to be an innocent kid in the mid-late 2000s without any worries in the world, now im scared of growing up and i find the best comfort in regressing to early years like 2001 - 2009, it brings me at peace :)

Words cannot express how much I love listening to your playlists. Every time I turn on one of them, it's like I'm in a different world. Your playlists keep me alive. Thank you.

To everyone who is doing homework, leave the chat, breathe slowly, take a sip of water, and focus

To everyone who is trying to sleep, leave the chat, grab a blanket, and get the rest you deserve.

To everyone who is feeling sad, grab a snack, get some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. When you're done, lay down, and get some rest, no matter the time.

To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your art is amazing. Remain in your flow and get stuff done!

Don’t forget to Chill on Parking anyway😉

such ethereal moments are to be spent alone with yourself with nothing but a sheath of thought to guide yourself to understanding the surreal situation you're surrounded in. great playlist as always!

My wife worked in a hotel in 2019 and we ended up taking a suite to live in. Then, CoVid happened. Everything shut down and most of the hotel staff stayed home. In this large hotel, it was myself, my wife, the manager and her husband. They were on second floor, we were in the first on opposite ends. I remember it feeling like the world had ended. We had to drive to a city about 30 miles away once a week and there were no cars on the once bustling highways, nobody in the stores, just the key personnel. I still went places and did things, but felt like i was one of the last people on Earth. When night came the world was a liminal space. Anyone else have fond memories of this time?

1:57 - That picture looks exactly like the hallway in my Grandfather's house that he owned which is now owned by my Aunt and Uncle. The layout looks exactly the same from the room layout, attic door, and the tan walls. Unfortunately he had passed at the age of 89 in 2020. But that picture along with the balloons is truly a nostalgic feeling for me. Thank you Nobody. You are a somebody to me.

This works surprisingly well as a study playlist! A steady and undistracting ambience.
