Everyone saying they feel dumb haha, but in reality it’s because when you look at so many lines at once (at least imo) it overwhelms your brain and makes it hard to realize how simple it actually is and a video like this just puts that into perspective.

I was embarrassed and thought I was the only one who didn't completely understand a tape measure.
I've never seen anyone explain something that seems difficult but made simple.
This has made my life so much easier.
As a woman living by myself; when something tears up, I have to figure out how to fix myself. This has helped me tremendously. Thank you so much.

Dude I'm 32, and I finally understand! I was never tought in school. I guess I fell through the cracks. But I've been using a tape measurer for work daily but I never understood this. Thank you for making this my friend. 🎉

Ok so as someone with severe adhd and dyslexia this video was almost a stem because of how well you explained this! This video before this the guy was calling everyone idiots for not knowing how to read a tape measure it just bothered me bc I genuinely didn’t know how and was looking it up bc it was a job requirement that I applied for so I wanted to learn! Genuinely thank you ✊🏻❤️

As a handy-gal who does a lot of home repairs myself, it always took me longer to complete a project because I didn't understand how to read a tape measurer. Thanks to your simple breakdown, especially the part at the end where you talked about the height of the lines. It connected the dots!! You made my day!!! I cannot thank you enough for posting this video!👩‍🔧 📏❤😁

I’ve been taught to read a tape several times but never had to consistently use one. Now I do, but forgot how again. This video is great. Never realized the simplicity of it. Thank you

OMG! Clear indication that some make things way more complicated than they should be. A toddler can understand this breakdown 🙏🏽

Just bought my 9 year old son his first take measure. He asked me to buy him one. So I said well then you have to know how to read it then. We just watched your video and he already understands. Now he's measuring everything in the house. Awesome job!

Praise God someone has finally gotten me to understand how in the world to know what's what with the tape measure. Especially since my new career is BIG on "can you read a tape measure?". Thank you so much for this segment; Awesome job!

Love you for this! It's something that my father, a 30-year construction guy, never took the effort to explain to me and typically just lost his shit whenever I asked.. Can't even tell you how excited I feel. You explained it so well. Thank you!
