This Lock is SMART and backed by Xiaomi but the execution is poor! 😢

 
So, what do I think? Well, the concept is pretty cool and interesting, but the execution of it is really poor. I would really like to see Xiaomi stepping in and improving the features set and including it into their mi home app. For approximately 18 dollars, its not expensive, but the product definitely needs t mature.

I am trying to connect my Samsung galaxy s9+ phone bluetooth with yeelock but the pairing failed. Therefore, I cannot unlock the yeelock at all. Can anyone give me some advise here?

I wish the mi home app would add support for this lock. The yeelock app it downright terrible and after a while just left them permanently open.

I have 3 that worked for a couple weeks and this morning the both stopped responding. My phone couldn’t open them anyone. I still have the QR codes but the locks aren’t responding. How do 2 separate devices fail on the same day? This sucks. Now I need to break a door open.

Hi, I have been using the "Yeelock" but I accidentally erased the Key from the app. How can i regain the key? the door is locked and i do not have the instruction paper anymore

keep a snapshot of the key QR code in yr phone/ laptop just in case u accidentally erase d app/ lose the instruction etc.

You're understanding of airplane mode on your phone and why the app didn't work but did work when airplane mode was turned off and wifi and data turned off and the lock worked is terrible. Bluetooth is affected by airplane modes status but not affected by wifi or data being turned off.

And you complain about a $20 gadget?
