This company should put that quote on their advertising!
"It's not terrible" - LockPickingLawer
High praise.

“Not great but not terrible.” This is actually high praise for a lock coming from LPL.

This lock took LPL about 1:20 to open, I would trust it with my life

This is the highest level of praise I've EVER seen LPL give a lock. I'd put it on my home

LPL is so experienced in angling shiny things away from his face

That touchpad is rather ingenious. Failing to the Lishi is no crime; the core is replaceable, so this is actually very good.

LPL: "It's a decent lock"
Lockly management: "Christmas bonuses thins year!"

I believe this is the first smart lock featured on this channel that seem to be actually fairly secure.

A good lock that will thwart any unskilled villain. I wonder how often the battery must be replaced.

I once helped a friend install a "scramble pad" about 18-19 years ago; it's the same concept, but intended for a high-security commercial market. It was a 12-key button matrix in a telephone configuration, but each button had its own 7-segment LED, and projected through a lenticular lens, so they had a narrow viewing angle, intended to deter shoulder surfers. You'd push a button to wake it up, and the numbers are assigned a key randomly. It was weird using it, and having to fight the muscle memory you develop just from using telephones all your life!

Wow, this is actually pretty impressive considering the standard fair on this channel. Not only does it have a creative and practical extra security feature, its physical backup is passable as well. Rare for a smart lock to be so competent.

This is actually the best review I’ve seen him give an electronic lock. That’s noteworthy

Ingenious! Most hospital ED entrances I went into as an EMT had scramble pads for the same reason. Also, "pick resistance is not great, but it's also not terrible" sounds like high praise from LPL

Holy actual flip. I think this is the first smart lock that hasn’t just unlocked itself out of surrender as soon as LPL walked into the room. 😮

A freebie feature of the keypad is that with 12 combinations (3 numbers in 4 circles), there's even a tiny bit more randomization each time it updates. The last time you entered the passcode, you had two choices of where to enter the "2"

Seems like this might actually be a good smart lock for once. The keypad swapping the numbers around is really smart.

When LPL posts a video over 3 minutes you know it's going to be a decent lock!

I've had a lockly for the past couple of years, It was the only door lock that ticked all of the boxes for me. Fingerprint access so I don't have to use any keys to get inside, keycodes so that I can give access to other people/friends etc, special access keycodes for tradesmen or anybody else that I only want limited time access for, and a physical key for the _hidden_ key slot in the handle in case I bite the dust one day and people need to get inside when I'm 6 foot under.
All in all I'm pretty pleased with it, even more so now that LPL didn't open his lockly with a butterfly wing or cat whisker in 0.2 seconds like he does with all the other locks.

That's amazing pick resistance. Guarantee no locksmith in my town would have the skill to open that with a pick.

I've seen a good few locks win LPL's praise, but I think this is the first time I've seen a smart lock earn it.
Interesting indeed.
