thanks for the inspiration. got too in my head and emotions and tried to cut off a little piece of wood earlier and the knife slipped and took off a decent little chunk of my finger. been quite fascinating feeling this and observing the processes of the body. gave me perspective of what it was like for tons and tons and tons of other people and creatures who’ve lost fingers / limbs. really interesting and i have much respect. kinda crazy how delicate my hands are.

it truly would not take much to do severe damage to any part of my body.

i think my finger really sliced as easily as a carrot. i was not using much pressure at all with the knife and it even went straight through my finger nail.
i really have been working hard on healing and growing my body with all these years of living growing and developing with issues, but i’ve got a long way to go!

tough strong hands and feet are certainly a very respectable trait in men, women too.

I too sit at red lights while rubbing my stick in long back & forth strokes…. Just “practicing” my fire starting.
