So, a summer gift to myself and the family was to have a backyard griddle installed. Unfortunately, by the time I had the gas connected, I had unexpectedly broke my knee. I had six weeks to dream of how I was going to break it in, and thought I was going to live out my fantasy as a backyard hibachi chef. Then I saw this video, and couldn’t get it out of my head. For two weeks, I watched this vid several times to make sure I got it down. Yesterday, I got the ok to walk again and today I finally FINALLY made this sandwich. It was the maiden voyage meal on the new griddle. It did not disappoint, and was worth the obsession. I think I charred the crust a bit but oh man it was so good. I even went all bottoms for the first one. Next time, I’ll try all tops and see which one tastes better. I really dig your and Nate’s channels. Can’t wait to try almost all of it.
