This malt loaf recipe is absolutely delicious. So easy to make, whether you have one hand or two and just like store bought but without all the additives and preservatives. Full of fruit and that wonderful malt flavour, simply wonderful.

Back again, made it over weekend, with one difference. Didn't fancy loaf sagging in the middle, so added a quarter cup flour extra. Worked for me. AND, loved it, loved it so much it's nearly gone. This will be a regular in my baking. Thanks again

Holland and Barret is the only place I could find Malt Extract, couldn't find in any supermarkets in UK.
