wranglerstar Did you make a part 2 for this? Really wanting to know the results as I also have a terrible issue with wasps. Running around the yard trying not to get stung while spraying them with wasp killer is not something I want to continue doing.

Nice video, I use sliced apple, strawberries and nectarines for my base fruit.
Add yeast, sugar and some warm beer and a dash of Dawn soap along with water.
As from the meat bees ... Sardine juice in the water with Dawn and hang a piece of salami from a string aro. 1 " above the water level..
Both ways will get nasty smelling, but it works.., You could put a whole tin of sardines in and give it a try, but I love

I had a pair of 100% synthetic Croc knockoffs from a general discount store that lasted years.  They cost 2 dollars and were perfect for in-house slippers, shower shoes at the gym, and bumming around.  Next time I find them at a store I will buy 6 or 7 pairs.

I'm surprised you were able to wear Mrs. Wrangerstar pants, I didn"t even notice the shoes.  Hope you get the wasps under control, no fun fighting them.

We use jam jar wasp traps - just 1:1 sugar water. I empty them every two days as the wasps have drowned three layers deep in two days.

It's really true that yellow jackets like raw meat! I saw some raw bacon the ground and it was covered with them. Cool video today! I really enjoyed it!

I just wanted to make one suggestion in terms of your bait.  Wasps are attracted to a compound called "Heptyl Butyrate, "  which is the ingredient used in commercial wasp traps.  

It's also easily found in fresh apples and plums.  I heard/read half water and half apple juice is actually pretty effective, but have yet to try this.

Thanks for doing this video. I have a wasp and hornet problems as well but haven't had much luck with the solution I made.
PS. I wear Crocs in the garden. They're ugly as heck but comfortable for flat feet.

So my wife asked me to check underneath our house for a wasp nest as that was where they turned up last there....So where are they coming from she asked. I went to fetch some wood from our little wood pile I'd stacked last Easter. Bingo, it's alive with them. I may give this method a go to get rid of them as I've more wood to stack soon.Thanks for sharing

If you find an old jar of jam and leave it in the greenhouse without the lid on wasps will go crazy for it and get stuck. !!

"They were long enough when I was 12." Cracked me up. I get a lot of grief on the clothes and shoes I wear to be comfortable. I am a little taller so finding stuff that fits like it does for the average person can be a challenge.
