Do you plan on making the gold blade in a push mower length? That would be badass.

Used the gold blades for the first time on 3 of my mowers. Definitely made a difference in stripe quality. However after cutting a 19 acre complex the decks were absolutely caked with grass/dirt from 1/4"-1/2" thick absolute nightmare for killing the deck was like trying to remove enamel paint... other than that everything else I've gotten from ballard has been great.

Hey guys M&J Lawn Service LLC and i know you know our name .I’m a superior fan of your products, yes the Saber is a freaking beast for edging. i have commented on the saber before the first one i put on has over 2, 000 feet of work and still going. I’m awaiting a package from you guys now on more blades just can’t get enough of them. shoot me an email about maybe being a tester of your product. I know they can handle them i have enough experience and knowledge plus the extensive power to handle what you throw at them.thanks Cory Austin for the great product you have given us to work with.

With my mulch kit on my stand on machine what mulch blade will keep the grass more under the deck versus still throwing it toward the chute blocker?

Can you run the double blade system on a Gravely ZTHD 52”zero turn that takes 3 blades? I currently run Gator blades and looking to switch.

Last thing you want to do is pulverize the grass when it is wet. Unless you like clumps and a mess. I stopped having to double cut in any conditions when I switched to Velocity+ decks about 6 years ago here in MD where we have mostly tall fescue.

Great video, I love these blades however I do wish the x-blades were offsetting that way they were on the same plane. I run Dixie choppers and I do see a small difference. Just my opinion, keep up the good work.

I have a mower with a mulching kit on during grass season. I currently use Ballard Ripper blades. Should I use Hi-Lift?

I'm not one for gimmicks but the gold blades definitely woke up my Ferris ICD deck. It striped ok and cut quality wasn't any better than "fair" in my opinion. It has always puzzled me on the cut quality. Deck is set up correctly and engine is running 3600 rpm. Honestly, these blades were a last-ditch effort to get it to cut and they worked. It now stripes almost as well as my Scag, but it still doesn't cut as good as the Scag but I would give it a B+ with these blades. It was a C+ / C cut before. One last thing I noticed about them was how smooth and quiet they are. I was really expecting it to sound like a street sweeper but they are one of the more quiet blades I have ran...especially for being a high lift mulching blade. I have set of the Ballard Ripper blades for my Scag and those were super quiet!

Use Maxpower blades, they are lighter and the best. Oregon Mulching is good also.
