The icon set is great. I have them and no complaints

I have these and I like them, I have stripped the tip yet but I did use the flat head to pry and it broke and I wasn’t prying that hard at all but hf replaced it no problem

Any steel tipped screwdriver can be made magnetic. Rub it against a magnet and the tip will be magnetized.

I have returned under warranty two sets of Icon screw drivers because the shanks rust, great screw drivers though.

One grade 8 bolt probably has more steel in it and is harder. There is no reason screwdrivers should ever be this expensive other than the fact people will pay for them.

If 6 steel shafts were bolstered, it would be a better value. The warranty is great if necessary.

Screwdrivers are one of those things that is worth buying from Snap-on. Nothing grips the screw like they do.

Icon screwdriver set $50, Snap On screwdriver set $195.

It's not a "plus" sign - it's the orientation of the tip, visible from the back of the handle. Note the Snap-On wrench access is not only wider but longer as well. I'm assuming it's SAE as opposed to metric. The ridges in the tip do grip better. A common complaint is that the holder doesn't fit into a lot of drawers. The durability of the tip is crucial, after all that's why you use a screwdriver. If the Icon doesn't hold up, then it's not as good as a Snap-On. If you have an issue paying for a Snap-On, then go to another poster, Project Farm, and look at his very exhaustive review of screwdrivers before you purchase any Icon products.

Icon will never be as good as snap-on or Knipex. All they are is a copycat manufacturer who steals other good manufacturers designs and uses inferior metals and processes to get their tools made to look very close to the originals which they could never match because the originals are always the best!
