Bless you for taking the time out to make this video to help us mechanically challenged! My brake lights stayed on tonite when I got out of the truck and I thought another rabbit hole to go down trying to figure out what was up. Watched your video and went back to my truck to look at it and sure enough the pieces of the grommet that failed were on the floor! put a bolt in like you suggested and back in business!

Hell yeah! I luckily had two leftover of the same screws and nuts. Fixed in 5 mins. Was going crazy for a min lol

Thank you for the info. I got the same problem where the stopper are missing, but the light is not constantly on, as a matter of fact, all brake lights are not on when pressing the brake. Any suggestion!! Do you know which one is for the brake light switch? There are two switches under.

i was scratching my head for weeks over this issue, i didnt even consider it wasnt even an electrical issue. this was the solution lol

I been having a clutch issue on my truck. My brake lights came on and this video helped solve that problem and while I was down there saw that the same thing had happened to my clutch pedal. This fixed them both, thank you for making this video.

Might be a bad fix long term because the buttons on those switches for the lights are plastic. Those metal bolts might wear down the plastic buttons and then you have another issue. I’d wrap them with some duct tape or maybe some shrink tube.

I took my truck in 3 years ago to get some gaskets replaced. $3k job. When we went to pick up the truck it was dead. The break light was stuck on. They said $100 for another diagnostic check. I was furious at that point since they said it was all done and ready to go. Took it home hopped on YouTube had it fixed in 30 minutes. This is obviously an issue with Nissan trucks, leads to me believe that mechanic was trying to get more money from me

Hey bro, sweet mini, love the old school look 👍🏻🖤 I've got a couple of hydraulics related questions: on the other video it seems like the back is on leaves, am I right? If so, did you install the rams (cylinders in the US I think) in place of the shocks and used lowering blocks on the leaves? I'm asking cause I see here that you didn't cut the bed at all, it's still all there, very clean, yet you seem to have decent amount of travel. Hope you don't mind me asking, if all goes to plan I might be looking for one.

bro i can’t figure out how to get the brake lights to work . Taillights go on, checked fuses, changed the brake switch, changed taillight socket and now don’t know what else to do

Yo I got a problem where when my headlights and running lights are on my brake lights don’t work like it doesn’t show I’m braking at night but when running lights aren’t on it shows I’m braking does anyone know the problem?
