I’m here to learn about religions, going around any video about any religion I can find. I want to find what I believe in, rather than being told what to believe in. Thank you for this.

This was made almost 4 years ago and i want to let you know that you’re still moving people to this day and helping others get closer to God by helping them find out what that would like to do and how they’re going to approach being a Christian. I’ve been a “christian” my whole life but yet the only thing I’ve ever done was attend church rarely and when I did go it was just youth group and we didn’t do much. I’ve been wanting to get closer to got for a couple weeks now and tonight I had such a terrible vision as I was falling asleep and I had to wake my girlfriend up so she can help me because I honestly was terrified and she is very religious so I knew she could help me out, after about 45 mins of talk about things that had to do with the Bible and faith and ETC., I came to YouTube to look up exactly what you made in this video. I want you to know you’ve just changed my life within less than 6 minutes. I’m considering saying screw the graphic design degree that I was about to start in January and go for something way more productive that I can help people with even if I make little to no money. You’ve truly inspired me in many ways and Thank You for that. God bless you and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day sir.

''My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.'' Hosea 4:6

The public reading of Scripture is an ancient tradition which was passed onto the first Christians by the Apostles. Our brothers who lived during the first four centuries of the Church's existence devoted far more time to reading the word of God aloud during their meetings than we do today. Few people study the Scriptures as much as they should. It is therefor the duty of every church leaders to read the books of the Bible, from the Book of Genesis through the Book of Revelation, in the hearing of church members, their children, and unsaved visitors, while also continuing to preach, and to teach, - and to encourage people to read and to study the Bible on their own. I recommend that at least thirty minutes of regular weekend church services be devoted to reading the Bible aloud; reading through the New Testament at least once a year, and reading through the Old Testament about once every six to eight years.

The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy to read his letters aloud during church services. "Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation and teaching." 1st Timothy 4:13 NASB

The Apostle John assumed that the Books of Revelation would be read in the churches. "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, ..” Revelation 1:3 ESV

God commanded the Prophet Jeremiah to read aloud His word in Solomon's Temple. “..in the hearing of all the people in the Lord's house you shall read the words of the LORD" Jeremiah 36:6 ESV -

The Apostle Paul wrote in 1st Thessalonians 5:27, "I put you under oath before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers." Does Paul’s apostolic command apply only to the First Century church leaders at Thessalonica? Of coarse not! The Holy Spirit compels all church leaders to do the same, until Christ's second coming. The Holy Spirit works through the Scriptures to convict people of their sin, of their guilt, of their need to repent, and of the certainty of judgment. That is why 'offensive' passages, mostly having to do with sexual immorality, adultery, and divorce, and greed are avoided by today's church leaders.

"All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed." John 3:20 "Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” John 8:47 ESV "

..they cannot listen; behold, the word of the Lord is to them an object of scorn; they take no pleasure in it." Jeremiah 6:10 ESV

"Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God. A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the LORD." Hosea 5:4

The Scriptures are more than reference books for lengthy sermons and sparsely attended midweek and pre-service Bible studies. They are the very words of God passed onto us by His holy prophets and apostles, and through them our spiritual birth in Christ Jesus is facilitated. Churchgoers need and deserve to hear more of them.

~Examine what witnesses of church services from the First through the Fourth Centuries had to say about the public reading of the Holy Scriptures.

~Tertullian, in the 2nd century said, "We meet together in order to read the sacred texts." He continues, "With the holy words we feed our faith, we arouse our hope, we confirm our confidence." "The church unites the Law and the Prophets in one volume with the writings of evangelists and apostles, from which she drinks in her faith."

~ Justin the Martyr, in the 150's said that at church services, “The memoirs of the Apostles or the writings of the prophets are read, as long as time permits.”

~ Clement of Alexandria (c. 182-202) talks of Christians in their worship, “always giving thanks in all things to God through righteous hearing and divine reading.”

~ Theodore of Antioch in the late 4th century said, “All of us, having come to faith in Christ the Lord from the nations, received the Scriptures from them and now enjoy them, reading them aloud in the churches.."

Consider using the Internet and local newspapers to start home based Bible reading and study fellowships. Many 1st Century churches met in homes.

"Greet also the church in their house." Romans 16:5

"Aquila and Prisca, together with the church in their house, send you hearty greetings in the Lord." 1st Corinthians 16:19

Whether you gather in a grand cathedral or in a humble dining room, God will bless you as you grow and mature together through faith, lending your ears and your hearts to His word; and as He has promised, our Lord Jesus will be there with you!

Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.." Hebrews 3:7, 8

As a muslim, I will try to explain in points what is the Islamic faith in Regards to Jesus The Messiah.

1- Mary(Mariam) the mother of Jesus is the best and most glorified woman to ever be created.

2- God chose Mary to carry a child by a miracle, where Gabriel the archangel blew in her womb the spirit and God ordered him to be so he existed and God describes the creation of Jesus in Quraa to be similar to the creation of Adam.

3- Mary got pregnant, and knowing that the sons of Israel will not tolerate or believe her story she was in deep sadness and sorrow and wished she never existed and said: i wish I was but dust and nothing that anyone could remember.

4- God revealed to her that don't be sad, and told her whenever anyone speaks to her That she says: I am fasting for God and will not speak with any human today.

5- She came to her people carrying the baby and for their great astonishment they said: what is this Mary ?? Your father was a good man and your mother was never condemned of any demeanour??!!!.

6- God made Jesus -a new born baby - speak in the presence of the Israeli scholars and important people who came to see what shame Mary has brought to the house of Haroun ( the descendants of the blood line of prohet Haroun, the brother of the prophet Moses).
7- For their great astonishment Jesus said
He said: Surely I am a servant of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet;
And He has made me blessed wherever I may be, and He has enjoined on me prayer and poor-rate so long as I live;
And dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me insolent, unblessed;
And peace on me on the day I was born, and on the day I die, and on the day I am raised to life.

8- That is Jesus the son of Mary, and this is the truth about what people are disputing.

Only when they heared and saw him speaking they realised Mary had a miracle from God and they accepted her and her son with great dignity.

9- Jesus grown to a beautiful elegant man, tan in colour, silky black hair, any one saw him thinks he just came out from shower.

10- God sent Jesus to advice the people of Israel to obey God and not to change Torah, and not to make scriptures out of their own mind and claim that God has revealed it to them.

11- God supported Jesus with Gabriel the archangel who holds the responsibility for the spirit.
Jesus, to show the Israeli miracles that prove he is a prophet ( the incident of his speaking as a new born is told but not seen, there was no youtube at the time). God enabled him to make statues of birds and when he blows into them they become real and they fly away.
Also Jesus by the word of God could heal the blind and the leprous and tell them what is in their houses and what they are keeping as secret.

12- Despite all his efforts only small number of people really believed him, among whom, a few declared to be his most loyal and supporters ( The students).

13- When Jesus felt the jews are planning something bad for him, he sought the help of his students, and God rescued his prophet and messenger Jesus by taking him to the sky, where the roman and jews took someone else who they thought was Jesus and put on the cross. We don't know who this man was, most likely this man played a game with "Judas Escariot" such that Judas plays the role of a traitor and takes the Roman to this man who was dressed as Jesus. And so it was done.

14- In the end of days a demon ( Human or not) who is the antichrist will try to control the world by spreading of adultry, deception, demoralising all virtues and condemnation of the good people ( Just watch Netflix and compare with what you used to watch in your childhood to understand).

But despite all his actions and efforts, Virtue will come back strong among humans and people will reject his teachings. In the islamic world, a man will regain control on the islamic countries and will do immense efforts to bring back faith and Virtue to the society and will defeat Israel and take back Jerusalem.

15- As for the antichrist, The failure of his plans will make him super angry, infuriated to the failure of all his followers who ruled the world for him, the antichrist reveals him self and declares himself to be : The true Jesus christ.

16- We don't know from where he got his powers or abilities, but he can resurrect the dead and do things only Jesus have done at the days.
Millions will follow the antichrist thinking he is Jesus christ. To their astonishment he will spread all kinds of anti Jesus teaching and punish the good and glorify the bad.

17- Only very little number of people will not follow him or will be kept safe from him. He can't enter Makkah or Medina as God has assigned angels to fight him back.

18- Jesus will come back near Damascus. He will enter the Mosque while people are praying and they all know him at first sight by instinct and for the glory and lights Allah has bestowed upon him.
Jesus will pray with the Muslims and then will go find the Antichrist and will kill him by a spear.

19- Jesus the Messiah will role earth and bring peace. All people will come to him and faith is ( we hope) unified.

20- Jesus lives and dies as any man, and years later (hundreds or thousands or whatever)years later, the humans will be indulged in their tech and superior control on the earth natural resources. They will think they know how to control everything in the earth ( you can think about earthquakes, volcanoes, wind, etc..).

Then Allah will command all believers to die and then will bring the Judgement day on whomever remains alive and those are only the worst humans.

That is the islamic Faith about Jesus the Messiah. And you can confirm and validate from any Islamic official source, or visit your nearest Masjd( Mosque) to ask for your self.

N.B.# Last Supper:
The real story, and how were there a feast on the table, while Jesus and the students were on the run. Here is the story as told in Quraan:

When the disciples said: O Isa son of Marium! will your Lord consent to send down to us food from heaven? He said: Be careful of (your duty to) Allah if you are believers.

They said: We desire that we should eat of it and that our hearts should be at rest, and that we may know that you have indeed spoken the truth to us and that we may be of the witnesses to it.

Isa the son of Marium said: O Allah, our Lord! send down to us food from heaven which should be to us an ever-recurring happiness, to the first of us and to the last of us, and a sign from Thee, and grant us means of subsistence, and Thou art the best of the Providers.

Allah said: Surely I will send it down to you, but whoever shall disbelieve afterwards from among you, surely I will chastise him with a chastisement with which I will not chastise, anyone among the nations.

Judgement Day, conversation between Allah and Jesus as mentioned in Quraan

And when Allah say: O Isa son of Marium! did you say to men, Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah he will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my mind, and I do not know what is in Thy mind, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.

I did not say to them aught save what Thou didst enjoin me with: That serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness of them so long as I was among them, but when Thou didst cause me to die, Thou wert the watcher over them, and Thou art witness of all things.

If Thou shouldst chastise them, then surely they are Thy servants; and if Thou shouldst forgive them, then surely Thou art the Mighty, the Wise.

Allah said: This is the day when their truth shall benefit the truthful ones; they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide in them for ever: Allah is well pleased with them and they are well pleased with Allah; this is the mighty achievement.

To Allah is the possession of the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is in them; and He has power over all things.

I read the bible but slavery isn’t allowed these days, how can I get around the law in order to follow our morally pure and true god?

I'm very confused by this perhaps someone can explain it to me in more simple terms. From my understanding of "faith" it's simply a belief, some are reasonable and others are not. For example I have "faith" my car will start tomorrow morning, and I have this faith for a good reason, I look after may car, keep it maintained, I know it has fuel in the tank and a massive track record of success starts, so far still at 100%.
I have so much faith in this that I gave made promises such as to my boss and coworkers that I will come to work tomorrow. This doesn't seem to be the same as Christian faith, I'm I right or wrong I'm not sure.

There is NO position or belief that cannot be taken on faith. It's the most worthless justification for believing in something.
Why can't you people acknowledge this??
You need EVIDENCE to justify belief in something
Religion is a mental illness;
Furthermore, the greater the claim...the greater the evidence required to justify belief.
