FIRST SPRING in Stardew Valley 1.6 - What Can You Accomplish. 100 Days of Play - Part One

I'm playing the full first year of the 1.6 update in Stardew now it's finally been released on console and I was GOING to release it as a one and done play through but I'm impatient and since I HAVE A JOB.. it was going to take too long .. so we're going in seasons! First up (not a shock) I'm sharing how my first Spring went in the new update.

Have you played yet? Did you see any changes that I didn't?
What should I look out for to trigger some cut scenes? I know I've fallen behind on the friendships so summer should be a bit more interesting

Tip for knowing what’s needed for the bundles - if you go into your menu (where you can see your inventory, skills etc) on the far right there is a little icon that looks a bit like a tree, if you click it you’ll see all the bundles you’ve unlocked so far. Also, if you hover over items in your inventory, that icon will pulse if it’s needed for the center

Im so happy the 1.6 update is finally out on switch! Been playing with the new farm the past couple of days. I have a particular route I like to do for the egg hunt and it’s never let me down, although in the first year I’d rather have money than the prize lol

For fishing, a tip is to tap tap tap the button, rather than pressing it or holding it down. It makes fishing much easier and actually fun. Also getting the training rod will restrict your fish to low levels, meaning its much easier to catch them and therefore easier to level up at lower levels.

Omg we both put the well down the same day ans were annoyed when she didnt start work. I also didnt win egg race as i forgot my route. I have built the silo and the back pack.

FYI, the 'You've got some new ideas to sleep on' message happens when you've levelled up one of your skills :)
