I remember listening to this some while back...and here I am again...time flies so fast...makes me kinda sad..but also nonostalgic for the moment surrounding me then when I listened this music for the first time while getting ready for bed.

more movies like this needs to be made. This wasn't just any normal movie. This movie defines who were are as human beings. When put through the test, we can become tough species that will go through extreme for survival and then there are moments in the movie that displays how fragile we really are. Mainly the scene when she finally gets inside the airlock takes off her suit and curls up in a fetal position as she floats into rest..as if a safe haven inside a mothers womb.

This specific piece of music is called "Spiegel im Spiegel"  (Mirror in Mirror) and it was composed by Arvo Part in 1978... then later used for this movie.

This is a piece by an Estonian composer named Arvo Part called Spiegel im Spiegel or "mirror in a mirror"
