If you ever go into your Google Chrome settings and see a message on the top of each settings page that says "Your Browser is Managed by Your Organization", you might be wondering how that got there or how to get rid of it. There is a chance it could have been placed there by your work IT department, something you downloaded or even a setting you changed while messing around with your browser. Regardless of the reason, its usually pretty easy to get rid of with a few simple steps.
Here are the notes from the video.
chrome://policy/
chrome://flags/#show-managed-ui
Look for Show managed UI for managed users and disable it
If it's not there, then open Regedit and navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome
Then try to delete the policy or the Chrome folder. Just be aware that if you delete the folder, it will delete all the policies that were assigned.
Here is a writeup of the process on our website.
