What is funny is the people being the loudest in saying "nothing to worry about" are the IT educators that have the most to lose once everyone realizes L1 Support is a thing of the past. As a high level security professional, I see the writing on the wall. Only the most elite will have a job in the very near future. For the rest of humans, there is starvation, deprivation, and misery coming. Anyone that thinks poor humans will survive when the value of their labor reaches a negative number is in denial. This is the end of all entry level IT roles, and entry level work in general in developed countries. And how many senior roles do you really think the world needs? Wonder what all the poor people will do with their newly won "free time"?
