4 different ways to make a design wall! Today I am making my new design wall for my studio and bringing you along with me...I have missed you all! It's time to get back to work after moving, and before I do this needs to get done. I've had a lot of questions about my previous design wall and so I though I'd share my ideas and tips for making your own.

Aww your hubby is sweet. He liked being on camera. Had a smile from ear to ear and more importantly, he supports your hobby/artistry. Yay!! I'm toying with a quilt design wall of some kind....your video has given me some ideas.

The best tip of this whole video was your stud showing us how to find studs for ourselves 😊.

I newly retired, recently moved to a house where I have an actual quilting room. Ive been looking for design wall ideas for some time now and love all your ideas. Thank you for sharing. I have used the same concept fir a folding, travel ironing board. Now with your travel design wall I am all set to travel to friends, classes and retreats!!

Great tutorial on the wall. I laughed when you showed the mattress straps. The clips look exactly like garter clips we wore with stockings before they came out with pantyhose 😂😂

Thank you for showing how to make a designer wall . I live in an apartment with very little space. I like your portable wall now I'm going to make me one with the board you get at the fabric store.

My husband and I are installing a design wall next week same size as yours. I bought flannel covered sound proof boards from Amazon. My wall will be about $90. I like your cost better. Flannel is already on it and squares are 16"x12". We are going to put wood slats into our studs with small but long finishing nails and add a sticky tape here and there to the slats and anchor the design board to it. I may make a video to post when I start my youtube channel. Thank you so much and Harlan seems so helpful and supportive just like my darling hubby. I can't wait to show Harlan's stud finder hack to my hubby, JB. It is a keeper idea.

I am so glad I did more searching. Before I found your tutorial, we already purchased insulation foam boards. I didn't tape them together yet.! I just have them standing very close together. I showed my husband how you cut them in 4's to fold up and store away. He loves that idea. He said, it should fit in our closet under our staircase. The only thing I am not able to do is mount it. But, it still does a great job at holding my blocks. I also purchased flannel for the board, and it really does work great! Thank you for this great video.

Thanks heaps for your design wall ideas as I now have a sewing room I’m going to start with just the flannel on some cord as I’ve limited space.. Your video taught me more than you could imagine ❤️

Loved the portable wall insulated boards. I made the small one using the pillowcover and then used your idea with use of photos printed using freezer paper and attached some photos to corners and plan to use it as pinboard in my office.
