As said, in Aus, because of a strong history of unionism, a full time worker will get 4 weeks paid leave, no matter what industry, 4 weeks sick leave (which accumulates every year), an extra 3 months leave after you have worked between 7 and 10 years in the public sector or university, superannuation paid by every employer for retirement as part of your compensation, 16 weeks paid maternity leave at least, 2 weeks paternity leave and the right to disconnect after work hours. Some industries have better compensation, but the advent of the gig economy means some companies are working hard to rip off their workers in various dodgy ways.

I live in UK but not everyone get 30 days paid leave, it depends on which industry someone is working. I have worked here full time for 15years and yet I could only take 15 days a year excluding public holidays and bank holidays.

On number 3, that tall house you see there? Yeah thats in Canary Wharf, one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) places in London, and that there is my dream place to live in. Captivating scenery.

I live in Gloucestershire in the uk and would struggle going to london, my phone has never been stolen and i leave it on cafe/restaurant tables when even if i need to get up and do something, i leave it in the shopping trolley and go to another aisle etc etc, i often dont even lock my bike up. Would be hard to adjust to being hypervigilant about thieves

I can't use any single day-off working in korea. Supervisor would ask you why you are using and if it is not reasonable, it would get rejected so easily. (If my parents are dead then I can use like 3 days.) Working 6days in a week and havent used yearly leave since I started working. I am preparing to go abroad working.😅

Become a teacher or work in a primary or secondary school and you'll get more days off.

I was flabbergasted to know that there's still a place in this world that your phone would be safe, be it with you let alone leaving on a table. 😮🤔

The prices of groceries in Seoul are hella’ expensive compared to the prices of groceries in California. But dining out ? Hella’ expensive in California but hella’ cheap in Seoul. Give and take I guess.
