It depends where you are in the US to how friendly the people around you are lol I’ll go to the corner shop to get a soda or some gas and the cashier or lady behind me in line is telling me all about their kids/grandkids, surgeries, etc. whereas I went to NY once and I would get glares if I asked how someone’s day was 😂 😂
