Good point. I moved out at 19, literally just turned 19 and never went back. I started my own business and luckily succeeded. My brother stayed 12 years longer...definitely financially much more interesting. I'm not regretting because I wanted to stand on my own feet and I made it, but never do it if you don't make it financially.
Just like now I'm telling people NOT to take the LEAP and quit your job, because we NEED MONEY! I love my freedom lifestyle and travel the world, but I made a plan and took steps. I never took the leap.
Great stuff!

This is true. When you have just graduated, it's wild jungle out there. Being an adult is not easy.

My son is going to be 20 next month. He's been working since he was 18. He's still living with us. I would rather that, because he is autistic, and I feel more secure by him staying with his parents. His savings alone, is muuuucccchhhh bigger than the savings of both parents :D

i can't lie, it stung to sit through this video and accept that i'm most likely not gonna be close to finically stable enough to get my own place at 18 or in my early 20's. my plan right now, as a 16 year old is to secure a job, save for a car first, then throughout my 20's, i'll live with my parents and save for an apartment, and hopefully i am extremely stable (money-wise) to get my own apartment, no problem.

I'm 42 years old I remember I move out when I was 22 that was when cost of living were cheap that was like 20 years ago. All I have to say stay at home as long as you can stack your money up.

Just turning 24 and still living with my mom, can't imagine doing it otherwise. I live in a crowded city where rent is TO THE ROOF and your video was a vibe check to me right now.

I won't let my impulses dictate how I live my life, I rather save more money and move out RESPONSIBLY. Just got my shit together with my finances 3 months ago, now I have to save more and finally start the process in one year or two!

Great video as always!

Lots of great points made in the vid man. Even with parents that weren't together I had a decent upbringing compared to many. However, I couldn't wait to strike out on my own and blaze my own path in the world. Looking back staying at home for 2 years after college, paying off debt and setting up for nice head start would be the way to go. My oldest son is starting high school this year and I will absolutely love to have him around at home until he is set up for an easier start in life.

Hello I’m 18 I’ve been saving and me and my boyfriend both have good stable jobs. I’m not moving out because I want to it’s more like my parents are so controlling and so mean. They’re always down playing what I do and I’m always working 24/7 Monday to Saturday. I have a car I have a good amount saved but I just can’t do it. They won’t let me study and they won’t let me go shopping at all for things I NEED like clothing like food nothing. I’m moving out on the 20th and I’ve been lying about it honestly anyone know how I could tell my parents? They just don’t believe me at all and they think I’ll come back running to them :(

I went to college at 18, but still had a room in my mom's house.

I’m 16 and I’m in an expensive area to live in, but I have a partner that wants to move out with me when we’re 18. I know it would be more financially responsible and beneficial to stay at home but my mother is abusive and I can’t live with her abusing me and controlling my life anymore. What should I do

Solid video bro,
Video suggestion: you may already talked about this concept but you should do a video on how to plan to pay for your first house. 🥶

All of these people here have different stories.

You can't speak for everyone. You're just an influencer trying to come up with "smart ways to be successful"

Because you're not very smart and tasteless.
