It's weird so see Jason so reserved in an interview. He's usually so animated and excited, you can really see how much he was hurting at the time.

What I hate about all this is that most of Metallica's good bass licks on _Load_ and _Reload_ are James's licks anyway. As much as I wish Jason had been a part of Metallica, with 3 exceptions he was just the studio and live guy. Why would James feel threatened if he wasn't a complete narcissist? No wonder why Kirk always looks down.
