This is great, but the background loop is making me feel insane.

In relation to Trust the professionals, I would argue. Once I sent for printing to the most advanced printing company #1, and they had an option to improve the prints. Of course, I trusted and agreed, and in the end I received just bleached prints for a high price. The next time I contacted another company to print a photo book, and although they also offered several options for "image improvements", I left everything as I edited it myself, and the result exceeded my expectations, the whole family looked through this book with delight for several days.

I use a Canon Pixma Pro10 and have printed many of my photos up to 13”x19” size. I too increase the brightness to render closely what is on my monitor. I use the Canon Print Studio as a plugin and have had great results with it. Nothing better than seeing my photos in a print other than on a screen

Superb overview. I would either skip the music or make it 90% reduced (very subtle). Honestly your presentation is very strong and does not need supportive music. Thank you.

(Ignoring the muzak)

I was thinking this a great Add-On for Weddings… not necessarily the couple but the Family & Friends!

A custom print from the Wedding (where most dressed once a year to impress!) might be the Take Away that makes smartphones snaps look silly 😏

Misleading to hype 1100 printer when it has been on back order and not available for purchase.

Thanks for this overview of printing at home or not. I have been doing it for several years and use a Canon Pro-200. As many who might be considering making an investment in printing your own, I've learned a few things. 1. It can be expensive if you don't use the printer periodically as that will put it through a cleaning and priming process every time you turn it on. 2. For those who use Lightroom, the printing module can be annoying. My Canon Pro-200 came with Canon Professional Print and Layout. You can use this as a Plug in. Printing from this is straightforward, margins are easy to set and it has all of the choices of Lightroom for using ICC profiles, etc. Give it a try!

I have the Canon Prograf 300, so far I really love it. Question will this printer take the Hahnemuhle Fine art papers?

Can I do metal printing at home with a Pro-1100? What kind of paper do I need for that purpose?

Useful info. Thanks. Maybe in future videos please consider turning down the background music look. I felt it was competing for attention and very distracting. I've found that for large size or odd shaped images, professional framers are a better choice, defiantly not cheap but always better. I've printed lots but generally stick to the 8x10 size for "home" printing.

I had the Pro-100 and I got a few large prints. It feels great to materialize your fav photos, but the learning curve to get the colors accurate was too much for me in terms of time, money, and frustration. Then one day the printer just died.

I use a small boarder to give the framer space so that the frame doesn’t cut into the image area.

could not finish the video due to the music volume, which is louder than her voice. The music clip is so short as to become annoying.

Enjoyed the information/presentation but the background music was extremely distracting and sometimes covered the somewhat softly spoken words. Ditch what is distracting.

Had to bail halfway through because the background music was much too loud and annoying. It was hard to break out what she was saying.

When the ink cost as much as the machine and needs to clean the printer head and waste so much when not in use doesn't make it cost effective .

Nice discussion of printing and mounting options but the background music is very annoying and ruins the entire presentation.

Cut the dang music!! A few seconds at beginning and end ok, but annoying as hell all through the video. Can’t finish
