The art of printing photos has been lost throughout the decade. Physical products have faded away as digital consumption became mainstream. Platforms like Instagram + Facebook were meant to share photos of friends / art online, but the feeling of holding a physical photograph became archaic. Print your photos, everyone. I think one of the reasons why I don't print my photos is probably because I'm scared to see all the flaws in my images being on a physical thing that people can see and touch 😂 but then again having the image as something tangible is pretty mind opening and cool!

Great video once again Chris! Your art class sounds a lot like my advanced photography class in high school where we picked a theme and had in person critiques where we made prints and showed the class. Printing is sooo important! Seeing your images on paper instead of a screen is totally different!

When you said 'watching them come out of the printer' I can tell you're not that old..lol.. In my classes we were watching the images form in the chemicals on paper as the only option.

..but yeah, I try to print photos and hang on my wall. I like to rotate them out to keep it fresh. When i swap them out, I have a little portfolio that I stick them in. It's fun to look through them every. once in a while. It's a different feeling than looking at it on a screen. I used to give prints to coworkers and friends and they always loved it.

Can't hang an NFT, printing is the REAL deal ✌️ Print all your "keepers" imo, in like at least A4 size, or smaller, but just having that archive is priceless to be able to show, or display in a portfolio of sorts!

I bought 2 frames for a 8x10 prints coz I told myself I’ll start printing and those frames have been sitting on my shelves since I bought it lol. I’ve almost printed a photo from a drug store kiosk one time just coz. going to start asking my local labs about prints. Crossing my fingers for a my first prints soon.
