The Periodic Table of Elements currently hosts 118 chemical elements, each one with its own unique properties and principles. Elements are the building blocks of nearly everything we know and use in this world. From the air we breathe, the medications we take and the electronics we use, elements are the fundamental building blocks of the universe. However, out of all 118, there are some elements that possess almost magical properties. Here are the 10 strangest elements.

0:15 Not nearly everything. EVERYTHING. Every single physical object in the universe is made of atoms, these atoms are chemical elements.
There is a prize offered that exceeds $1 million for anyone who can make a physical object (ANY physical object) that contains no chemicals.

Bismuth isn’t the heaviest radioactive element. I think you meant the heaviest stable element, but it is technically radioactive. Also its symbol is Bi.

Has anyone actually done that magnet trick with bismuth? I'd love to see that.

Water contains Carbon? Nope. Maybe it can be used to filter water, but that's about it.

its kinda a poor list, a lot of these elements you listed are strange simply because they dont exist for very long, where as you missed elements that acted very weird but are quite common like helium which acts as a liquid till it reaches a point then the colder it gets the more expanded, then when cold enough it acts as a super fluid, which is a fun topic on its own. (it kinda brakes logic) or lithium which floats... as a metal, it also is very heat resistant, unless you really put it in water then it burns like crazy. or Boron which is very toxic to insects but isnt for people. or argon which is very nonreactive, which is weird because its neighbors are quite reactive

Bismuth must be the key to future sonic hovering trains, planes and cars
(Because of the hovering thing with the magnets)

8:40 No, carbon is NOT an ingredient in water. Water contained hydrogen and oxygen and nothing else. Some carbon compounds can be dissolved in water, but carbon is not an ingredient in water.

if bismuth is negatively charged, why would a magnet float between two pieces of bismuth? isn't one magnet pole positive, so it would be attracted to bismuth?

Bismuth only looks like that after it has been heated
