This won't clean a dirty EGR you need to remove the EGR to clean it and inspect it. I love how they say professional use only, no professional would use this.

You have to clean most of it yourself, if you disassemble it you get it clean. I have the inlet manifold cast to the cylinder head, so I have to scrape first. And then use the spray can.

I've tried this product, and going by its smell and how it does not increase, but decrease the engine rpm as it's being injected, I think it's actually (mostly) paint thinner. Which is less than ideal to clean an engine that's actually running. Also, the spray head is pretty much useless, because it does not atomize/vaporize the product, but merely sprays it in multiple directions, but still in continuous streams. Because of that the product will enter the engine in fluid form (which, again, is less than ideal, because of the possibility of hydrolocking it) instead of a fine mist, which would be okay. All in all to me it seems this product is very dangerous to engine health, and I can not recommend using it for anything other than cleaning parts that have been actually removed from the engine.
