Great analysis. I live in US, but most Americans aren't aware of the level of propaganda that exists in the US.
Its not always that things are covered up here. Rather, an unbalanced view is presented, things that are trivial are made to seem important and important things are trivialized.

On top of that is a level of jingoism and a belief that the US is morally superior to other countries.
Social media has aggravated that, because it allows you to live in a media bubble where your particular position is supported.
Consider that marketing and advertising are basically milder forms of propaganda, and then consider a massive company like Google is an advertising company underneath (thats how they generate a lot of their revenue).

I'm from the West. You make a lot of sense. I have also thought that the three pillars of US power are the military, the dollar, and the propaganda/NGOs.

Just back from China. Impression: no obvious cult of personality happening, I could travel freely, I could access Radio National (Australia) without a problem. Looks to me like Xi & his government are cultivating top level strategists: a history of playing Go leads to outstanding strategic thinking. This, plus an effort to run a meritocracy to harvest the best brains, gives me some confidence that they will avoid war despite provocation, and will manage competitors with agility. My other hope is that the CCP commitment to provide for ALL of the population as per socialist values, is really maintained, ie universal health system, best access to education, good food, reasonable housing, safe streets: these are things I saw in China, tho still a work in progress - but what a fantastic effort so far! 加油 .

This is the first time I come across your post. Great explanation, keep up your great work. A related quote "...your eyes cannot see what your mind cannot comprehend".

This makes total sense. There is a growing American community that understands it very well. Greetings from a Polish gal in the US.

There is tremendous value in what you are sharing. Please keep posting. Just 2 points I'd like you to consider:...
1. It's not all about IQ. Previous studies have shown that beyond intelligence, a whopping 90% of people do not think for themselves, but want to be told what to think. I know this is hard for the 10% to understand, but here's 1 example. A friend of mine had already done their PHD in Psychology when the Twin Towers were taken down. I doubted the MSM narrative and wanted to bounce my ideas off of her. Eventually, she confessed to me: 'In order for me to get on with my life, I need to believe that the people in power are honest and doing what's best for us. Please don't talk to me about those ideas of yours. It upsets me." She wasn't stupid, just selective.
Those of us interested in GeoPolitics are a subset. Be compassionate and responsible. You are doing that with these videos.
2. The other example of USA dominance has got to be movies and television dominance for the last 75 years. China must encourage more clear English speakers like yourself to fight the western propoganda and let us all know more truth about China's motives, ethos and plans.

Hehehe, as someone from Africa, we only need to apply for a Visa to go to one of the countries at the top of the pyramid to understand that we're at the bottom of the food chain.
For those who don't seem to understand, next time you're at the airport flying internationally, look at the immigration desks. Especially if you're flying from a country mentioned in the pyramid. I'll share my experience flying out of the EU, so you have the typical immigration desk for those who are citizens of an EU country. And then another section for non EU citizens. Also a special desk for anyone from, Australia, UK, Canada, Japan and any other country in that pyramid. Except China who are on the Others desk with the rest of the world.
This is when it really sinks in, you're at the bottom of the world hierarchy. On the others queue, you find a lot of Chinese, Indians, Arabs and a few Africans. Because good luck getting a visa to the EU as an African. Infact, if you fly to Europe through Doha and encounter a lot of Africans working in those airports. And they realize you're traveling to the EU, their first question will be, "How did you get the Visa?"
Not saying it can't be done, but let's just say, it's easier to tell a bank you want to empty an account with millions, just to put it in perspective.

Excellent analysis.

Before about 2015, I had no patience for people who criticized the USA. At one time I even supported the invasion of Iraq. I thought that the USA was merely uninterested in other countries and therefore clumsy in its foreign policy.

But then I moved here, and I discovered that there is more than that. I encountered disrespect, almost racism, towards India and China. I was told that the Chinese work very hard and are good at copying but are not good at creating new things (this is clearly not true, nor is it true of the Russians). At work, my colleague told me that there was a particular German supplier which "we do not like" and were trying to replace them. I also noticed The Economist (British newspaper) criticize Germany for being too fiscally responsible; as if we needed Germany to be good little debt-slaves not credit-masters. They are nervous about China for the same thing. There is also a kind of insecure arrogance, even fear of other countries, which surprised me. I now feel that the world is indeed a very dangerous place and that I was merely asleep as a european Brit far too trusting of the Americans.

And then since the Ukraine war started, my suspicions and intuitions have blossomed into horror about the way the USA operates. Not only did they destroy Nordstream, as you allude to, I believe they murdered Abe Shinzo of Japan, shortly after he spoke well of Putin in an interview in The Economist. The USA has no respect for its vassals. Poor Ukraine. And I think you are right: there is a pyramid, with the English-speakers and Scandinavians at the top, then continental Europe, then Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, then everyone else.

Damn, boy! I must be smarter than I thought, because I understood everything that you said. :)

I go back a little further, to 1848, the year of revolutions, the end result of which was the rise of Bismark, the man who, almost single-handedly, created the modern state.

He was the original reason for the rise of Germany, having created that country out of a group of bickering states, and brought not only them but all of Europe under a certain level of control, mostly by diplomacy, with some violence, some external and some internal.

But the end result was that Germany became a rising power in a very short period of time. The need to contain Germany led to the first World War, and the second World War erupted from Germany's attempt to regain its "rightful" place (according to the German point of view).

Now, you are correct that the USA used both of those wars to undermine not only Britain but also most of Europe. Germany has been OCCUPIED since 1945; it is NOT a free country, just like Japan and South Korea. India, by comparison, is much more free. (I have difficulty explaining that to a German friend of mine)

But the need to control Asia is not a new thing; it has been going on for centuries. So, yes, the West, the Golden Billion, as you (and the Russians) call it, are threatened by the rise of Asia.

You only have to look at the USA machinations in Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and the re-militarisation of the Phillipines. They are even interfering in the Solomon Islands, FFS!

But they haven't forgotten about Latin America; Mexico is not the only focus of their attention. They are currently destabilising Ecuador and Argentina. One mustn't forget all the decades of political manipulation of Brazil either. To say nothing of their sanctions against Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and their devastating exploitation of Haiti.

And I agree with you; the propaganda war is the most dangerous aspect of all. Unlike military action, which is limited geographically, or the economic warfare which they cannot control completely, the propaganda war affects every single individual on the planet!

Unless you live in Russia or China, which have blocked most of the US dominated internet, you, me and everyone else, every man, woman and child is exposed to the full barrage of USA propaganda every moment that we are conscious.

And cutting off internet access is only of limited use because propaganda is amplied by other means, not only electronic, but also by other people who have been affected by the lies and propaganda, and are completely convinced that it is the absolute gospel truth. So, one would have to isolate oneself from all human contact just to get away from it.

And as my little one said to me, "It's man against supercomputer", because we are fighting against not just other people, but algorithms that can learn our individual personal cognitive weaknesses, and adjust to suit.

I congratulate you on your analysis. You have obviously put a lot of time and effort into it.

Be assured that I will forward your video to my acquaintances. Whether they will understand it, is a different question :)

Thank you for sharing your excellent video!

Terrific analysis into the global hegemonic order. Thanks for providing questions to help us understand the complicated geopolitical situation we are in right now.

I live in Belgium and completely agree with you. Yes, WWI was started by the UK because Germany became too strong. WWII also started by the UK for the same reason: Germany was too strong and the US joined in after one year of war because they knew that by letting Europe fight among themselves, the US would emerge from this conflict as the strongest and thus the US would become the dominant world power.

And the War in Ukraine happened for the same reason. Because the rapprochement between Germany and Russia (cheap gas via Nordstream) was a major threat to the US: German entrepreneurship combined with Russian inexhaustible raw materials had to be avoided at all costs.

As a European I hope that Russia will win this war (which I strongly suspect will happen) and that NATO and EU will fall apart after this US-EU-NATO debacle and the influence of the US over Europe will disappear and we, the European countries, will finally be free as before WWII.

Agree 100%. You and the professor see the world exactly as I've been seeing the world. Thank you for proving to me I am not crazy, since it seems the majority of those whom I attempt to discuss the state of the world, believe me to be insane.

National sovereignty is but a dream to the minority that understands the situation.

The majority of people doesn’t have the willingness nor the capacity to understand the root of their hardships and so they just slave away and live in peace of their ignorance.

Democracy is a but an illusion of choice yet the citizens of these colonies will play along in fear of losing what little comfort they’ve gained.

I live in the Philippines and when I visited the US, I was shocked!

Hi, really nice job. It's a pleasure to see the geopolitical realities decoded and reformulated in new digestible ways. Also because of your "chill" space, ambient sound and relaxed approach it has made the subject less stressful to take in and therefore less toxic. Thank you.

Anyone who has listened to Mr. Wang can easily form an impression that he's super smart. He has the ability to filter all the noises and extract the core information and connect dots to form a line. His interpretation of the world, especially on economics and finance, is very enlightening, contradicting with the existing economic theories which have been corrupted by liberalists for so long.
