I’m not kidding when I say that I think about this video at least once a week. I injured my spine during my first year of collegiate rowing, but I miss it constantly. This video always comes to mind whenever I get nostalgic for it

This is my favorite of all your video. It is very evocative of the type of rowing I most enjoy. Great, glass like water, no crowds and hopefully no overpowered bass boats.
I would love to see more of this, what I call "Gypsy Rowing" and I was wondering if you could show some other locations where this is possible.
As I say I do a fair amount of this style rowing ( although your. stroke is cleaner than mine) and I have some criteria that I think makes great rowing water.At least here in New England.
*Protected water, I prefer bodies of water that have more of an east-west orientation to break the prevailing South West air flow. Or on some ponds particularly around Cape Cod "kettle hole ponds with protection on multiple sides are good.
* Access so be good but not great. A dirt ramp which cannot handle big power boats can be good. Not well known is good. and away from touristy is also good
* Horse Power restrictions are great, my favorite venue in my area has a 6HP limit to power boats
* As weed free as possible. Aquatic weed, particularly the invasive milfoil is a pain and dangerous as well the way it can grab your blades of get caught on the skeg.

Anyway I would like to see more of that kind of rowing and information as to locations as in where was "Morning Row" shot?
Finally I think that the sport of rowing is more than racing, nothing against that if that blows your hair back, but for some people, like me, enjoy just rowing, at it's best it is a moving meditation and a connection to the water and the world I have found in no other way

Thank you for this gorgeous video. Two ideas for your consideration: 1) get a good mike to capture ASMR water dripping etc, capture beautiful images like this and set to soothing music for stress/anxiety relief; and/or set to invigorating music for people like me to watch while working out on a rowing machine! This is really a niche target audience but it might work! Good luck and thanks again for a beautiful virtual rowing experience.
