Still my favorite Avengers movie to this day. It really changed the MCU and action/superhero movies as a whole. It was also the first major crossover, which just adds so much more depth to the individual, already established stories.

Watching this back, I found it super interesting how The Other tells Thanos that “the world will be his, the universe yours” but Thanos’ plan was ultimately never to conquer the universe. Just eliminate half of all life.

Then I remembered that if Loki had won, Thanos would’ve gained the space stone which would’ve allowed him to travel anywhere in the universe in the blink of an eye, making the universe his so to speak.

Cool how they managed to make old dialogue still work after juggling the plot around over the years.

0:45 I still think 2012 should've been a part of the SHIELD final episodes. Like they need the tesseratic energy from the site being destroyed or something. Would've made for some great callbacks, some spy work to avoid 2012 Coulson, and a few cameos
