I would have to go step by step to get this rite and the tutor I get hopefully would include this all in my hopes, what should I be studying in order to attain a GED. Please help.

Can someone please explain to me how restricting the domain of x to (x >= 0) makes the green line go away? If I take x=4 (which is > 0, so satisfies the restriction), then root 4 is still both +2 and -2. Restricting the domain doesn't change that. Surely we should restrict the image set to >= 0, in other words ignore any negative outputs of inverse of f(x)?
