Thank you for releasing a 13700K review first instead of the normal round of 13900k/13600k. Much appreciated!

My 13700K arrived about an hour ago, dropped it in a Z690 Strix D4 motherboard with 32GB DDR4 3600, a 360mm AIO and ran Cinebench R23...This is one impressive CPU getting just a bit over 30K score for multi and temps never went over 78 Degrees on the hottest core. with 5.3GHz across all P cores and 4.2GHz on the eCores and that was stock auto settings with XMP 1...

Great video! 13900k everywhere. This is the first channel that has 13700k. You got my sub!

*Thank you so much* ! You're the only one reputable I could find a 13700k while the rest procrastinated around it. Thank you boss.

Thank you for an honest, clean review of what I think is the CPU most people are intrigued about right now. Other reviewers have just made a confusing mess of tests with 20-odd other unrelated old CPUs cluttering up the results. Best & clearest review I've seen so far. Your power consumption tests which include the CPUs at idle are also very helpful in evaluating their real-world efficiency.

Been considering this as an upgrade for my i9 11900k, the single core boost seems nice, as running X Plane is mostly single core. Thanks for the information. Much more in depth than anyone else's

Brilliant idea to review the 13700K first Andy as this is most likely the premium choice for gamers. Your video is the only one to do this at the mo, good choice. Nice processor but I’m not happy with the high temp during stress tests. Kind of hoped Intel would have improved over Alder lake but hey ho. Still not sure what my upgrade path from I7 Comet Lake is going to be as I’m going to need CPU, Motherboard and Memory so at the mo either Intel or AMD upgrades will cost @ £1200 😮 Think I’ll be waiting until next year and review prices then and hopefully AMD will have released their X3D chip by then 😊

I would love to see the numbers with DDR4 memory, seeing as the platform is backwards compatible.

Marginal gains with double power consumption? Seems like 12700k is just fine for another generation.

Why did you not add the I7-12700k to these benchmarks? Would've been great to see how it compares to 13th gen.

Subbed the instant I saw the Idle power loads. Thanks! No reviewer does this for some reason. The PCs are on idle most of the time, like windows+browsing and just plain idle. The power draw here factors in much more when compared to the full load draw.

13:34 I cant believed!!! almost double power consumption....its a shame Intel.

Think the 13700K may be the way to go for a heavily gaming based system, even at £499. The 13900K at £699 is too expensive and probably more useful in productivity. Looking at the 12700K you can get it for around £420 so the additional £80 for the 13700K seems a good trade off.

Only question I have is why did you not have 12700K for comparison in the charts? Or was I just blind :D

Thanks for the video! I ordered the 13700k and plan on undervolting. I would be interested in a video comparing the 13700k undervolted to the 12900k.

ok i dont know where to look up will this cpu handle ram speed above 5600 cause I'm going to buy this cpu but I want ddr5 ram at the highest speed allowed which I believe is 7000 so will It register that or should I just buy 5600?
