I like the look of these though the green with maple board instead of ebony would have been 🔥. Price wise you can get an Ibanez RG550 Genesis though and that might be a difficult choice for me. I can easily block that trem or have it floating if required.

I have never played one of these but one day I have to get one... They seem like a really good deal, especially the 1 Series is hella speced out

Also the brown T-Style is gorgeousss

And I agree about the identity-thing, doing too much can take away your uniqueness... Ola knows what he wants, a gud ol chug and these guitars are built for that.

I’ve always been an Ibanez kinda of guy but more and more lately I been leaning towards Solar guitars, they definitely have my attention.

What impressed me more about Solar is the fact that they only took 2 days to ship the guitar I bought to my place. I live in Southern California and the guitar shipped from Spain and it got here in 2 days!!!! And I didn't spend extra for faster shipping.

Ola really nailed it. To me most newer guitar brands have wonky headstocks, the Solar headstock is dope. As far as being straight up metal guitars, not true. The models equipped with duncan Solar pickups are not super hot. They are more classic mid output as per Ola. So technically these guitars cover a lot of sonic ground. I saw a dude rip some amazing Haggard style country on a Solar, sounded great! I assume they coil split on some models too obviously.
