What if Endgame was actually Ragnarok, as they stopped (delayed) it in Thor: Ragnarok. In ancient Norse mythology, Ragnarok was the final battle, watching the Nine Worlds burn, as good and evil fought for the last time. That sounds pretty much like Endgame, as Thanos was killed, and the Nine Worlds looked pretty burnt as Thanos had gone around, killing half the people on every planet. Usually, in mythological prophecies, it’s usually metaphors, so ‘The Nine Worlds will burn’ could be a metaphor for everyone dying, as the planets couldn’t sustain themselves without life.
