I've got one of these. (2015 model). I love all the tones you can get from it. You can get a fat overdrive sound, clean Freddie green, twang, rockabilly, and more. It just feels great and looks great too

I traded my American made Telecaster for it and i don't regret it a bit.
Its very well made and the feel of it is top notch, sounds awesome coming out of a Fender Tweed Jr
Now stands proudly next to my Gibson J45 and Gretsch L-triple O

I just ordered one of these in Aspen Green! I dont know what it is about a singlecut guitar but it has ALWAYS been more pleasing to my eye than double cuts! Whether its a hollow body, semi hollow, or solid body guitar, Gibson, Fender, PRS, Gretsch, etc. I mean, I get the advantages to a double cut but to me singlecuts just look more badass and I prefer them 100% of the time.

Gretsch and Yamaha have a lot in common. Their student models and their professional models give you far more than you pay for. Their mid-range models are on par with their price tags, but their most expensive and their least expensive guitars are AMAZING values. Both companies are well aware that before you take the stage, you need a solid instrument on which to learn.

Mannnn. Looks nice. I find my self on this HUGE Rockabilly kick these days. And I'm like, what are they playing haha.
This is the first thing I find.
Looks like it will work. I just need to decide if I need this one or the Streamliner !
Prolly go for the Electromatic just because!!
I don't think I could go wrong with this bad boy.

This isn't really a demo. A demo would include different styles of playing and show the sound of each pickup combination.

Hi, I am looking at purchasing this In my country online. I know that this is the older version 5420T BT-FT... but what I don't know is where it was made? Is this same as the new 5420T made in Korea? Thanks!

For a folk solo singer songwriter would this one be a good addition? or not a big difference to a solid body lets say with humbokers a bit darker sounding?

I always loved the tone of those big hollow body guitars but only a few have a cutaway deep enough to access the d to D at the end of the fretboard. I do like the new Flame Maple Country Gentleman and the 1955 White Falcon reissue though. If I had $6000.00 in disposable $$$$ then they would be in my meager collection. I prefer long scale but do like one of the center block guitars too. My main guitar is a Music Man Silhouette hard tail but did play a Guild Starfire from the 60's to the 80's. I really like that fat hollow body tone.
