We had the chance to sit down and play the new Gretsch G5420TG-59 Limited Edition.

This guitar has all the great features of the best-selling G5420T, but with the unmistakable look and vibe of the classic G6120 Chet Atkins Hollow Body from 1959.

This is achieved by the spectacular Vintage Orange finish, and the quirky “mis-matched” gold/chrome/aluminium hardware that is characteristic of 6120s from the 1950s.

I have one, and I love it! Paired with a "Tweed" combo amp, it just reeks with that 1950's "Rockabilly" vibe! The "black top" filtertrons, sound great, and the overall build quality is excellent!

Thanks for explaining in the description what the last "G-59" means! I was really looking around hard for that
