riptide in the rain is great if you have elytra. Great replacement for rockets.

I may or may not have died to this

It can happen if you have a waterless bubble column glitch and fall down and then go back up into it over and over. If you hit a block your die instantly even if you’re falling from a short height

i remember when i first got a riptide trident and was like "i wonder what happens if i riptide in the air and then riptide down"

Did this on my realm, and it disabled collision and I could walk through some (not all) walls. It was very strange

dont forget, using riptide trident to elytra boost is the most fun youll have in this game for a short while!

Something weird happened to me with Riptide in bedrock too, while I was flying in the sky, I randomly died from fall damage

I only recently learnt that having prot iv on your armour boosts the effectiveness of feather falling. This might be common knowledge but I had to search to see why my feather falling iv boots had been nerfed. What I found instead was that not having my usual full prot iv armour reduced the distance I can fall and live from about 100 blocks to somewhere closer to 40 or maybe 50 (not that it matters anyway because I use hay bails to break my fall whenever I can)

This is the same with bubble elevators if you sit in one bobbing up and down you also accumulate fall damage even though you are sitting in water

Leads used to have this issue too I feel like. Transporting mobs on xbox creative was mad annoying because you couldnt fly too high or else theyd die on imoact with the ground (with the lead still attached)

You can also clip through blocks and get x ray glitch if underwater

I call that "Trident Juggling" when you juggle yourself in the air and stack damage. You can only really use it if you touch the ground after each launch

If u have an elytra and it’s raining you don’t have to use rockets unless your in a desert or savanna biome
