I use it as a pet. If you have loyalty, throw the trident and immediately fill your inventory completely, it just flies around you. Looks pretty cool...

Impaling seems more like something that should be ignoring armor. That would make tridents far more useful and dangerous on multiplayer play

This is one of the few things that bedrock has over java. We can make afk mob farms that instakill most mobs and apply looting with trident killers

They kinda said that impaling would do more damage to aquatic mobs in the update message when the aquatic update came out. Or, at least they did on legacy edition.

Tridents in Bedrock is op as hell, you can almost one shot every mob with Impaling V Channeling I and Loyalty III (When in the rain)

Impaling seems great with loyalty for clearing out guardians. No thorns damage and decent range, which makes it easy to take cover
