ADI part 1 - Becoming a driving instructor

This video briefly explains my process for passing my part 1 ADI test to becoming an approved driving instructor. It includes things to bear in mind while preparing for your test as well as website to help with your studies.

I passed my theory on Thursday 1st time 98/100 and HP 61/75. Rote - memorising and facts and figures. Gestalt - understand of subject matter. I had 2 skidding questions both you need to steer in the direction of the skid e.g rear wheels skid to left you need to steer in the direction of the skid - e.g skid to the left. Colourblind learners see red level crossing lights as they flash side to side. Disc brakes have less fade than drum brakes. Emergency stop student will not be expected to look in mirrors as the examiner would have done the safety checks. Disability test - the examiner gets extra time to fill out the paperwork. Good day Mr Kenny, many thanks for the video you posted. I have passed my ADI part 1 last August but due to one thing or the other, I had to pause on doing the part 2 of the process. Now, I have managed to book part 2 which is great but I need an advice from the expert. My test is in a couple of months' time, but I want it changed to next month which is difficult at the moment. My questions are, do I need to know the test centre area's roads and surroundings prior to the test as it is far from my place and I have never driven in that part of the city and more importantly, do I need to engage an ADI trainer before my test, if I do need an instructor, how many hours of driving lessons do you recommend?. Hey I loved your video is very helpful just one question I’m trying to pass my ADI part one however I have failed twice and I don’t understand why because every time I’m doing exam in apps or online I am passing is showing I’m ready and all the question is common for me but once I go for exam I get about 10 question that I have not found them in any apps can you help me with this please

For ADI Part 2 would you suggest to go for a training course that is vauled for 1500£? Like RED or 2000£ from AA?

Hi, I did my 1st ADI theory test last week & like yourself I failed by 1 mark 😤 what you forgot to mention in your video is, there is questions in the actual test that you can not learn, that I had no learning material for, I had approx 6/7 questions that I wasn’t expecting & didn’t know the answers.I have my 2nd test now booked for next week.

I had the test twice and failed, there was unexpected questions which I had no idea about them, I bought subscription from dvsa website also 2 apps which read all of them .
Every time I had 1 mark less in band 2.Can any one advise me how to have more information about band 2 ?or any one had test recently and remember any questions which was unexpected
